PDO threads have rapidly become a popular minimally invasive alternative to surgical facelift procedures and have given rise to the emerging cat eye, V-line, and snatched jawline trends. With its innovative patented technology in which the barbs are press-moulded and configured in a 360-degree helical pattern, MINT™ PDO offers the most robust threads on the market. This revolutionary technology allows instant yet profound results while minimizing pain & trauma - allowing patients to benefit from a shorter recovery time and providing an alternative for those who may not be ready for surgery or request a non-surgical option.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
AND IS THERE DOWN TIME?

PDO thread lift is an outpatient procedure, with a recovery time of two days to a week. In addition to your practitioner's instructions, there are general guidelines to follow to make the process go smoothly and ensure the best results.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

Patients typically need between one and four treatments for best results. Many patients chose to prolong the effects of PDO threading for several years with annual maintenance treatments.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Most thread lifts last 18 months or longer, and once the effects wear off, you can schedule another treatment to maintain beautiful, youthful skin..

AFTER CARE

It is recommended to avoid touching, wetting and washing your face for a minimum of 12 hours after the treatment. Try not to touch the entry point for 48 hours. You do not need to apply antibiotic ointment. Do not pick at the tiny scab that will form at the entry point. Avoid hot showers for one week. When washing your face after 24 hours, gently wash the required area with cleanser (recommended by your injector) and water.

Consequently, sleeping on your side or stomach is one of the worst things you can do after your procedure. Sleeping side or face down can cause patients to experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort, and generate less than ideal results.
