HOW DOES IT FEEL
Discomfort is minimal and brief, and it is unlikely you will develop significant side effects. Some patients develop slight temporary bruising at the injection site, which can easily be covered by makeup. You can ask your provider to numb the treatment area with a topical cream to further minimize discomfort.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED TO SEE RESULTS?
Most patients need 1 treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing. Results typically last for 9 months to 1 year.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER TREATMENT?
You should avoid strenuous exercise, extensive sun or heat exposure, and alcoholic beverages within the first 24 hours after treatment. Exposure to any of the above may cause temporary redness, swelling, or itching at the injection site. If there is swelling, you can use an ice pack.
